So what came first… the chicken or the egg?
For most of us, this week has always been a week for lifting up praises to our Savior; Remembering what He did for us and that He took upon himself the sins of the world. He willingly accepted His Father's will and died for you and me. The best part is that He rose again to defeat death. John 3:14-15 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15) that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

As I think back to the days as a young lad, I remember Easter as a great holiday. We all got new outfits to wear to church. We also got to go to a big egg hunt afterwards. I don’t know about you, but our egg hunts were interesting to say the least. We raised Dashounds and at any given time you would see one with an egg in his mouth running across the yard. Yes, dogs love egg hunts also… When we were at church we always heard the preacher talking about Jesus Christ rising out of the grave and how we needed to celebrate the fact that Jesus conquered death. The main thing is to realize that He did this for us. As Jesus tells us in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”

With Easter upon us, don’t lose site of the fact that God does love you and wants to give you a life of abundance thru His Son.

We, at Twin Lakes, wish you a Happy Easter and invite you to be a part of our celebration this weekend. We will start at 7/am with a Son rise service with breakfast to follow. So get up and come visit us and be fed, spiritually and physically. Oh yea, our regular Worship service will be at 10/am. Our choir will be bringing a special program just for you.

As for the chicken and the egg… The answer is the chicken. If it were the egg we would have boiled it, colored it and threw it out in the yard to be found weeks later by the dog…  J
